Project Overview
Project Details: Developers looking to attract tech savvy companies took inspiration from greek mythology and created Daedalus Center, a new 9-acre office park right off interstate 95 in rural picturesque Hopkinton, RI. The first of three buildings in the park, a 40,000 sf facility, is the new global headquarters of a growing international company, B2BGateway. The company owner, Donna Gilman, worked solely with Team Ruggieri on the overall interior design scheme for the space: a clean, neutral and versatile environment to accommodate employees from all over the world. The flooring budget for the project was very tight. In a unique position, David Ruggieri was able to not only assist on the overall design of the space, but able to exclusively use Starnet Preferred Vendors for the project.
Project Products: The project included Milliken Platinum Anniversary carpet tile, Mats Inc, Daltile, Tarkett, and Centiva vinyl plank. The setting materials, floor patch and adhesives used were from preferred vendors Ardex and Mapei. An open atrium lobby, comfy breakout areas on each floor for easier collaboration, and lounge foosball-friendly lunch areas are just a few of the special features this office facility has to offer.
